Here Are The Problems We Are Trying To Solve
The Referee's Mistakes
Referees make two kinds of mistakes. When they don't see what happens on the pitch and when they see what happens but misinterpret it.
Disciplinary Sanctions
Yellow and red cards are not given systematically. If they were, most of team would not finish with 11 players. Because they are not, we have perfect conditions for unfairness.
The Consequences Of These Problems?
Football Is Not Played By The Rules.
And Referees Need Help.
But they don't need more technology.
They need more humanity.
For preventing referee's mistakes:
Collaboration Between Players and Referees
Every player inform the referees and players when
the player committed a foul against an opponent
there was no foul committed against the player
the player touched the ball last when it went out of bounds
a goal has been scored against the player's team (the ball crossed the line)
For creating a fair system of disciplinary sanctions:
Temporary Exclusion System B + Return Substitutes
We need to only keep yellow and red cards for dangerous or violent behavior and use temporary exclusion for unsporting behavior
it sends the right message that the players' safety is the number one priority in football and creates the condition for systematic and appropriate sanctions for unsporting behavior
Yes, Football Needs A Radical Cultural Change.
We Propose A Culture of Respect and Honesty
What We Believe About The Current Culture
It prevents the game of football from being at its best.
It accepts cheating (diving, pretending to be hurt, holding, handball, etc)
It accepts that football is not played by the rules.
It embodies a "not guilty if not caught" mentality
It does not care about values like respect, honesty, trust or courage.
It produces injustice, controversy, violence and hatred.
What We Want For The New Culture
It rejects cheating of all forms
football is played by the rules
It is values-based
It produces justice, fairness, peace and care
It brings football to its best
Football Needs to Apply the New Rules about Disciplinary Sanctions.
Only FIFA, Confederations or National Federations can approve this new system
Disciplinary sanctions must be appropriate and applied systematically
To Protect the Players : Yellow and red cards for dangerous or violent behavior.
To Protect the Game : temporary exclusion for unsporting behavior
We cannot send off a player for unsporting behavior
With temporary exclusion system B, you can replace some cautions by temporary exclusion - let's choose all the ones which are not related to dangerous or violent behavior
Temporary exclusion system B says a player with two temporary exclusions cannot play anymore but can be substituted.
Return substitute means a team is not outnumbered for the rest of the match due to unsporting behavior.
It makes it easier and fair to apply systematically temporary exclusion for unsporting behavior.

About Genuine Football
Genuine Football was born from a problem that Laurent Caudéran had a few years ago when he started to think about sharing his passion for football with his young daughters. He knew that football as it was currently played did not correspond at all to the sport of values he used to practice when he was younger and he did not want to teach his girls that we can cheat and get away with it with little consequences. But rather than giving up on the idea of sharing his passion, he thought of ways to get rid of the cheating in Football. By studying why and how we cheat in football, he figured out that cheating was part of a bigger problem which could be solved simply and universally by everyone.
